 Our Signature Series™ B-15 is a remake of a classic flight jacket, recreated in beautiful goatskin leather! The B-15 was derived from the B-10, which was developed for the USAAF in 1943 (the B-10 was the AAF's first cloth jacket and was meant to replace the venerable A-2). The B-15 was introduced in 1944 (initially in cloth during WWII, then later in nylon after the war) and saw service with the USAF until the early 1950s when it was replaced by the MA-1. Having transitioned from the WWII era into the '50s, the B-15 was the first of the USAF's modern "jet age" nylon flight jackets. These jackets were sleek, lightweight, warm and ideally suited to fulfill the demands required by the new era of jet flight.
We've taken the ultimate version of this jacket, the B-15D, and upgraded it with soft & supple premium goatskin leather! Authentic details include the oxygen mask retention tab on the left chest, a pair of radio headset cord tabs, two unflapped snap-closure front pockets, pen-pencil pocket on the left sleeve, one interior pocket, removable synthetic mouton fur collar (with standard leather collar underneath), knit cuffs & waistband, and 100% nylon lining. To make this jacket even more versatile, we've included a zip-in/out Thinsulate liner for added warmth when the temperature drops, making this a true three season jacket!
Our Goatskin B-15 is a classic flyer's jacket at heart so it's perfectly suited for high altitude wear, but its luxurious leather construction gives it a degree of sophistication not found in a typical nylon flight jacket. It's the perfect amalgam of military practicality & upscale luxury, making it the ideal jacket for all your high-flying or ground-level activities! Color: seal brown. Made in the USA.

Styled like those worn by our F-86 pilots during the Korean War, this lightweight garment is perfect for those cool spring days & mild summer evenings and features a removable faux fur collar. Its 100% cotton shell has been washed to give it that "vintage" look & feel so the jacket is soft & comfortable from the moment you slip it on. Features include a quilted nylon lining, two front slash pockets with snap closure, one inside zipper pocket, zippered pen/utility pocket on the left sleeve, bi-swing back for freedom of movement, antiqued brass zipper, inside wind flap, and knit cuffs & waistband. The Cockpit® 1943 Repro B-15

The B-15 became standard issue to the USAAF after 1943, replacing the venerable A-2. After some initial objections to the change, pilots and aircrews eventually embraced the B-15 and recognized its virtues: it was lighter in weight than a leather jacket (while still being warm) and the fur collar reduced neck chafing while scanning the skies for bogeys. The Cockpit® B-15 is a reproduction of the WWII-issue jacket, but is constructed from flight satin nylon with a synthetic fur collar. Other authentic features include leather oxygen mask retention tabs, headset cord loops, two front slash handwarmer pockets, two inside map pockets, pen-pencil holder on left sleeve, inside wind flap, knit cuffs and waistband, fiberfil insulation, and embroidered "Wing & Star" AAF patch on the left sleeve. The B-15 became the standard issue flight jacket of the USAAF in 1944, originally constructed from olive oxford cloth. The B-15 was one of the first synthetic fabric flight jackets, and ours are just like those worn by our USAF F-86 pilots during the Korean War. Made of nylon/satin outer shell with synthetic mouton fur collar. Water-repellent 100% wool knit waistband and cuffs. 4 slash pockets with snap fasteners (2 outside, 2 inside). Zippered combination utility/pen pocket on left sleeve. Authentic details include oxygen mask retention tab and headset cord tabs. Made by Alpha. Please specify color. Imported.

This jacket is made from incredibly soft and supple antique New Zealand lambskin with all the natural graining common to this type of leather. Hand cut and hand sewn, this is an upscale jacket of the highest quality. The antiquing process allows the jacket to age rapidly as you wear it, increasing its battle-worn look over time. Features two front cargo pockets (with side-entry handwarmers), one inside pocket, a detachable mouton collar over a leather collar, stiched down epaulets, rib knit cuffs and waistband, and full cut body and sleeves for a roomy fit. For added versatility, our jacket comes with a warm and comfy zip-in/out pile liner for those changing weather conditions, making this a true 3-season jacket!
